in a nutshell...
Vanilia focuses on making women more beautiful. This is done from ‘The Adelaar’, an old soap factory in the Netherlands. Here, 14 different collections are made each year. They use high quality fabrics and import these from countries such as Italy, Portugal, Turkey and even from the Netherlands itself.
The collection consists of three different lines. The first line lets women go to their work in the most modern way possible. The second one focuses on a sportive look with couture details. The third line focuses on the festive moments in life.
Vanilia likes to be transparent about the origin of their products. For over 20 years Vanilia has been producing more than 90% of the collections in their own atelier. This atelier is located in Cappadocia, Turkey, where craftsmen work under good conditions.
Vanilia values humans and the environment. Since the 1st of May 2014 they are a member of Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). This is a non-profit organization that focuses on improving the working conditions in the textile industry. Next to that Vanilia takes the environment into account by reducing the length of the supply chain and by choosing energy efficient partners and transport.
