in a nutshell...
It's all about raw materials. As pure as possible, and of the highest quality. Our bakers know how to handle such.
Recipes may develop by the cooperation with French and Belgian colleagues.
Our chocolate comes from France. Valrhona.Their way of skillfull proceeding shows respect and wilfulness.
Our financiers are made of Spanish almonds and beurre noisette. Each coffee comes with one.
Ever heard of Catanambu coffee? Probably not,but really, this Catalan company roasts admirable beans.
Everything we create is the result of inspired craftmanship, and the use of raw materials as pure as possible.
A large variety of biscuits is baked without any instant cakemix.
Puff-paste will be turned as long as a great croissant demands, and working with delicate Valrhona is done with dedication.
We love to do so and we know how. That’s why, and because your taste deserves it.
One more thing about our Tearoom:
The panelling was cut for the town hall of Mortsel in1795. 175 years later it was re-used, this time to decorate a pastry shop in Amsterdam.
Come enjoy at Huidenstraat, between Keizersgracht en Herengracht. In the middle world heritage Canal Belt.
